This policy covers personal information processed when you use the Can Dostu website, customer account, partner application, booking and contact forms.
Can Dostu is a platform connecting customers with service providers. The partner you select remains separately responsible for providing its service.
2. Information we collect
We collect only information needed to operate the platform and fulfil your request.
- Name, email, phone, language and account details.
- Pet profile: name, species, breed, photo and notes you add.
- Booking: service, partner, date, time, price and contact notes.
- Partner application and business profile details.
- Reviews, support messages and technical logs needed for security.
3. Why we use information
We use information to create accounts, arrange bookings, enable the selected partner to contact you, respond to requests, keep the platform secure and improve the service.
- Provide platform functions you request.
- Process information where you have given consent.
- Prevent fraud, maintain security and meet legal duties.
5. AI assistant and separate consent
Non-clinical AI search sends your question, selected language and public candidate titles to the provider named on screen only after separate consent. Pet profiles, photos, bookings, orders and contact details are excluded from this feature.
A provider or purpose change requires new consent. You may withdraw consent in your account at any time; withdrawal does not change earlier lawful processing. The provider’s own processing and retention terms apply. The feature does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or image analysis.
6. Retention
Information is retained while an account and platform functions are active, and while booking or dispute records are needed for operational or legal purposes. Support messages may be retained for a reasonable period after resolution for security and dispute handling.
7. Security and cookies
We use access controls, role restrictions, password hashing and technical safeguards. No online system is completely secure; tell us if you notice suspicious activity.
The site uses cookies required for secure forms and login sessions. We do not currently use advertising tracking cookies.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion, withdraw consent, or object to processing. We may need to keep some records for legal or security obligations.

9. Children and policy changes
An account or booking must be created by a person able to assume legal responsibility, or by a parent or legal guardian.
When this policy changes, the new date appears on this page. We may give notice of material changes through an appropriate channel.
